       Shawn 对于关注沃得天下的朋友来说，已经是个比较熟悉了的名字了。Shawn 经常给我们写一些文章，谈谈他的想法和学习情况，和国内的“小朋友”们分享在北美的生活和学习心得等，是个很棒的童鞋！其实，Shawn还有一个小秘密：他是韩静老师的儿子！
       今天他和韩老师一起和我们谈谈北美孩子的“学与玩”，我们一起来看看吧！

       韩静老师谈儿子——Shawn
      
       问问在北美的家长，有多少人是常年做专属司机的？就拿我家的来举列子吧。哥哥12岁，周一和周三要去学习中心学习一个小时的英语阅读（因为在法语联盟学校，使用法语，所以我给他报了英语写作班，他自己很喜欢，就一直坚持着。），夏季的时候，每周三晚上7：00-9：00是篮球队训练时间，爸爸负责接送。周二的晚上6：00-8：30，是教会的小朋友俱乐部，哥哥从小在教会长大，这样的活动坚持了五六年了，也是雷打不动地要参加。以前的周四晚上6：00-7：30是国际象棋班的时间，后来和某一门课冲突了，才放弃了这个时间的象棋训练，哥哥现在还是很遗憾。
      
       夏季的周五晚上是固定的游泳课时间，从一级到现在的十级，也是一年又一年的坚持。周六是Shawn可以自由支配的的一天，所以他的主要娱乐活动是打游戏，只是下午要抽出一个半小时出去打比赛。我们家倒是有这样的规矩，周末绝对不会要求读书写作业，因为就是休息的时间，所以......休息就好！
      

半个月前，shawn获得了2016年度尼亚加拉地区国际象棋比赛总冠军，同时获得参加2016年加拿大国际象棋比赛安大略省挑战赛资格，接下来听听他自己怎么说。

My new highlight of the month is chess. I went to three different chess tournaments. In the first one, I was competing in one of the four districts. I got first while my friend got second because I was beat him. Then, I competed in the same location for the Niagara region. I got first again because I never lost. However, in Mississauga I was not as fortunate. I lost three games and won The last two I played. When I got there I was a little nervous because I was going to play a lot of really good people that were better than me. In the first game, I played the person that got first place last year. The second and third times I was a little impatient and lost. The last two times I won because I was playing people that weren’t the best. Over all, I think that I need to practice more so next year, I won’t lose three times and win only twice.
