英国60所学院和大学被吊销海外学生签证担保资格

移民局的大臣James Brokenshire向下议院递交了一份报告，要求对滥发学生签证的3所英国正规大学和57所私立高等学院处罚，暂停他们招收海外签证担保人的资格。
James表示，在他们的调查中发现，很多人利用私人学院发的学生签证留在英国工作的情况十分严重。这一刀不得不砍。于是，处罚决定来了：

✄ 三个大学：
Glyndwr University 格林多大学：暂停担保国际学生签证的执照，不能再发新的签证担保，已经发的担保也不能用来签证。
University of West London和 University of Bedfordshire：暂停发新的担保签证的资格，继续接受调查。不过已经发的CAS可以继续使用。
除了这3个University之外，还有57个各种College也被暂停了担保国际学生签证的执照，不能再发也不能再用他们的担保申请签证了。

这57个College仔细看的话，会发现好多眼熟的学校：

【What’s Next?】
接下来，移民局会对这个决定进行进一步的审核和调查。 对于这些被暂停的学校，大概会有两种结果。
1.通过进一步审查，执照恢复。
这应该是得结果，一切回归正常。
2.没能通过进一步审查，执照被取消。
这应该是最惨痛的结果，这些学校不但不能招新的学生，现有在读的国际学生也会被影响。不能继续读，60天内必需转学。
之前的一次，伦敦都市大学London Metropolitan University 被暂停之后又被取消了执照，所有国际学生被迫转学各种满城风雨的找新的学校转学。 前后折腾了一年他们的执照才恢复。 这次一下60所学校，绝对会引起超大的一次震撼。

▶ 英国签证种类有哪些？
学生签证 Tier4
英国的学生签证分为两种：儿童学生签证和成人学生签证。 其中，未成年学生需要申请Tier4(儿童)学生签证。成年学生则需要办理Tier 4 (General) visa， 此类签证假期可以全职工作，学期中可以兼职工作。
陪读签证 Dependant
适用于读NQF 7及以上课程（硕士课程）的学生，带子女或配偶去英国陪而且主申请人的课程长度要在1年以上。
探亲访问签证 General Visitor
已持有学生签证的同学如果想要邀请亲人来英国，如参加毕业典礼、学校邀请等，需申请英国一般的访问签证General Visitor，签证有效期一般为6个月。这类签证也适用于孩子特别小，首次去英国家长不放心，想陪同孩子一起去英国的签证。
学生访问签证 Student Visitor
小于12岁的孩子，在英国非寄宿学校读书，家长可以办理special visitor 签证，这类签证家长不能在英国参加工作。

❤ 签证专家贴心提示：
1、签证官把学生缴纳签证费的时间算作签证申请时间，而不是递交材料的时间。
2、签证申请时间非常重要，签证官以此开始计算学生的年龄，和担保金的存期。
3、在签证费缴纳日如果学生的担保金不足28天，即便递签的时候担保金满28天，也是会导致学生拒签的。
4、赴英超过6个月的申请者都要进行肺结核检测。
5、近期，对于最近去英国读语言的学生，使馆要求补充肺结核证明，澳际留学专家提醒学生们做肺结核检查。
6、TOEFL成绩将从英国签证移民局认可的安全英语测试名单中剔除，该变化于2014.06.10通过议会表决，并于2014.07.01开始实施。
7、英国签证担保金要求涵盖第一年课程的学费以及生活费，其中生活费要求伦敦地区每月准备1000英镑，每年准备最多9个月即可；伦敦以外地区每月准备800英镑，每年准备最多9个月即可。
从2014年7月1日起，签证担保金生活费要求提高为：伦敦地区每月1020英镑，伦敦以外地区每月820英镑，每年准备最多9个月即可。
